This 1 meter (3.3 ft) Belkin 10 Gig Aqua patch cable uses laser optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF) built for 10Gb Ethernet, with LC connectors on both ends. It is rated for 10 Gigabit runs of up to 300 meters with 850 nm VCSEL optics and gives you close to three times the bandwidth of older 62.5/125 multimode fiber.
It works with LED and VCSEL light sources, stays compatible with legacy networks, and suits campus and backbone links.
