It connects 10GBase-SR, 10GBase-LRM, SFP+ and QSFP+ transceivers and reaches up to 300 meters at 10Gb (850 nm).
LC connectors for quick setup
Two LC multimode male connectors on each end mean no splicing and a fast install. The cable works with transceivers such as SFP.
Multimode fiber for backbone links
This laser-optimized fiber has a larger core and gathers more light than single mode fiber, which makes it a good part of a backbone network. With a 50 micron core and 125 micron cladding, it is best for shorter runs, such as inside an office building.
