Convert async RS-232 to RS-485 at up to 115.2 kbps over distances up to 4000 ft on CATx cable. It runs half duplex over two wires, with or without transmit echo. The RS-232 side has a DB9 female connector configured as DCE and the RS-485 side has a terminal block, turning unbalanced RS-232 signals into balanced half-duplex RS-485.
