The Black Box LES1716A-R2 is a 16 port console server that gives out-of-band reach to firewalls, PDUs, switches, routers and other consoles in data centers and remote sites. It has sixteen RS-232 ports, dual Ethernet and a V.92 modem for redundant access, and the spec lists cellular broadband support. A 1 GHz ARM with 256 MB RAM, 64 MB flash and 16 GB storage runs zero touch provisioning, LLDP and SSH, with AD, LDAP, Kerberos, RADIUS and TACACS+ login. Dual power supplies draw about 30 W in 1U, and a rack kit, two 6 ft patch cables, a serial adapter and a crossover adapter are included.
