The Black Box LES421A-R2 is an industrial 1 port serial device server for connecting PLCs, meters, sensors and barcode readers to an Ethernet LAN. You can set the serial port in software to RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, and two independent Ethernet ports with separate MAC addresses give network redundancy. It supports COM port redirection (virtual COM), is fully managed by web browser and runs from -40 to 80 C.
