The Black Box LIC024A-R4 MultiPower is an industrial media converter, not a network adapter. It links a 10/100 RJ-45 copper port to a 100Base-FX single mode fiber port with an ST connector at 1310 nm, reaching up to 24.9 miles (about 40 km). It uses store and forward switching with auto-negotiation, auto MDI/MDI-X and broadcast storm protection. It mounts on a desk or DIN rail, runs from -25 to 70 °C, and accepts AC 100 to 240 V or DC 5 to 50 V through a 4 pin terminal block, with DIN rail brackets and a power adapter included.
