The Black Box LMC4000A is a pocket sized media converter, not a network adapter, for bringing fiber to desktops and laptops. It links a 10/100/1000 RJ-45 copper port to an SFP slot that takes 1250 Mbps Gigabit SFP optics, and supports jumbo frames up to 10,240 bytes. It weighs only 2.5 ounces and can draw power over USB or from an external adapter, so it works where AC or DC power is not available. It is TAA compliant.
