Its Ethernet capability lets several Ethernet-enabled HDMI devices share one network connection for online content and firmware updates. It supports 4K at 50/60Hz, 3D video, Deep Color and x.v. Color, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and up to 32 audio channels, plus dual video streams and multi-stream audio. Both the source and display must support a feature for it to pass through.
