The Cisco Catalyst 9800-L-C (C9800-L-C-K9) is a 1U wireless controller running Cisco IOS XE, built for intent based networking with Cisco DNA. This copper version has 4 x 1/2.5GBase-T RJ-45 ports and 4 x 10 GbE ports, plus RJ-45 console, RJ-45 management, mini-USB, USB Type A and a redundancy port. It handles up to 250 access points, 5,000 clients, 4,096 VLANs and 4,096 WLANs with 5 Gbps throughput, and supports Wi-Fi 6 access points. Management covers HTTPS, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH and RMON, with WPA2, EAP and RADIUS security. It is rated at 110 W with 86.9 W typical use.
