The N457-001-62 is a 62.5/125 micron LC male to ST female fiber adapter cable that lets you reuse your installed ST fiber cabling when upgrading to newer switches with LC type SFP or GBIC transceivers. Connect the LC male end to the new switch and plug your existing ST cables into the ST female end. Your current fiber plant stays in service.
For installations that use 50/125 micron cable, the matching model is N457-001-50.
