Add a security camera, wireless access point, VoIP phone or other PoE device to your network even if your switch does not support PoE. This single-port injector sends up to 30 watts of power along with 10/100/1000 Mbps data over your existing Cat5e/6/6a cable, so you skip the cost of a PoE switch and new AC wiring.
It powers any IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) or 802.3af (PoE) device up to 100 meters (328 ft) away, perfect for lobbies, ceilings, warehouses or anywhere without an outlet. It supports full-duplex 2 Gbps traffic and protects your device from short circuits, overloads and surges.
Setup needs no software: connect your switch to the shielded RJ45 Data port and your PoE device to the Power + Data port, then plug the C14 inlet into a NEMA 5-15R outlet with the included cord. LEDs show power and data status. Mounting holes let you fix it to a shelf, desk or wall, and the palm-sized, fanless housing runs silently.
