The N820-15M-OM4 is a 15 meter aqua OM4 rated duplex multimode patch cable built for 10 Gb, 40 Gb and 100 Gb Ethernet. It delivers fast, clean signal transmission across your LAN or SAN at low cost, with performance that comes close to single mode cable.
It is backward compatible with existing 50/125 fiber and made from quality materials. Both ends use widely compatible male LC connectors tested to strict insertion loss standards. The 50/125 duplex zipcord fiber is glass, and the low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket limits toxic smoke in a fire, which suits spaces with poor ventilation.
As a laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF) cable, it is a natural fit for LANs, SANs and high-speed parallel interconnects in head-ends, central offices and data centers, and it is often used with VCSEL and LED light sources. It meets IEEE 802.3ae and TIA LOMMF standards.
