Built for surveillance and other PoE installs, this CAT6 keystone jack assembly is the right fit for above-ceiling runs where wall plates are impractical. The 18 inch cable ties your CAT6 premise wiring to an IP camera, wireless access point, LED lighting, sound equipment or another PoE+ device mounted high on a wall, on a ceiling or anywhere far from an outlet.
Power over Ethernet keeps installs simple and affordable. The cable can carry up to 100W to a Type 4 PoE or PoE++ device, so you skip the cost and work of new electrical wiring, outlets and separate power supplies.
It is UL CMR-LP (0.5A) certified. The Limited Power rating means UL has checked that the cable handles its marked current in real installs without going over its temperature rating, so you can plan for higher power levels without worrying about heat.
