This breakout cable splits one 40 GbE port into four 10 GbE links for servers, switches or adapters. It is a great fit for data centers, high-end servers and enterprise wiring closets and costs less in port price and power than fiber. It supports 40GBASE-CR4, 10GBASE-CR4, 6G SAS, Fibre Channel and SONET.
Zinc die-cast male connectors resist EMI, ergonomic pull-tab ejectors make connections quick, 8-pair wire technology handles bandwidth-heavy work, and flexible 30 AWG conductors keep high-frequency response smooth.
It works with SDR, DDR and QDR and with all QSFP and QSFP+ ports, meets the MSA SFF-8431 and SFF-8436 architecture, and is compatible with the Cisco QSFP-4SFP10G-CU1M.
