The N821-03M-MG-T is a 3 meter (9.8ft) OM4 rated duplex multimode patch cable for 10 Gb Ethernet, with reach of up to 400 meters at 850 nm. It works well for LANs, SANs and high-speed parallel interconnects in head-ends, central offices and data centers, giving you about four times the bandwidth of standard 62.5 µm multimode fiber and performance close to single mode cable at a lower cost.
Push/pull tabs make the connectors easy to reach in crowded data center racks, so you can plug in or pull the cable with one hand. Both ends use widely compatible male LC connectors that are tested to strict insertion loss standards, and the premium ceramic ferrules are made for 10 Gb and faster applications.
The magenta jacket marks it at a glance as OM4. This laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF) is backward compatible with existing 50/125 fiber and is commonly paired with VCSEL and LED light sources.
Its low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket limits toxic smoke if the cable ever burns, which makes it a smart choice for spaces with poor ventilation. A slim uniboot design saves space and routes easily through ceilings, walls and ducts, and the durable plastic housing is built for long service.
