This IEEE 1394 (FireWire) cable gives you a universal connector for linking digital cameras, scanners and other peripherals to a computer. It moves data much faster than USB 1.1 and similar cabling, at up to 400 Mbps, which makes it great for multimedia work, and it saves you from juggling a pile of adapters.
