The E2MTHDI EnviroSense2 (E2) sensor module works with Tripp Lite LX Platform devices, including WEBCARDLX, WEBCARDLXS and PDU3XE and PDU3E Series PDUs. Plug the supplied USB cable into an LX Platform device and you can keep a remote eye on ambient temperature and humidity in your network space. Through its dry contact interface it also reports open or closed status from two compatible devices, for example a smoke detector, fire alarm or security system.
If a reading crosses a set limit or a monitored contact changes state, the event is logged in the PowerAlert Device Manager on the LX Platform device. A magnet holds it to most racks and cabinets, you can chain as many as three E2 modules together, and a built-in harness keeps cables neat.
