This single-port extender adds another 328 ft (100 m) between your PoE source, such as a PoE switch, and a remote PoE device. Cascade up to four extenders to reach 1640 ft (500 m) in total by placing one between each run of Cat5e/6/6a cable up to 328 ft.
It carries 10/100/1000 Mbps data and up to 30 W of power over existing cable, so you avoid new AC wiring and outlets, and it automatically detects PoE/PoE+ gear to protect it from damage. It is a good fit for cameras, VoIP phones, POS kiosks and access control devices.
