Keep tight control of the RJ45 ports on your patch panel, wall plate or switch. Each insert locks into an empty port so no one without access can plug in a cable, which protects data, discourages tampering and keeps ports from being overused. The pack includes 10 yellow inserts.
Push the insert into a port until it clicks. It works with most RJ45 jacks, can only be removed with the Tripp Lite N2LOCK-KEY-RD security key (sold separately), stays compact so neighboring ports stay usable, and the yellow color is easy to spot in a crowded rack.
