A loose patch cable can mean a lost signal or a security gap that leads to costly downtime. These RJ45 plug locks keep connections secure in Gigabit networks and digital signage, and they are a big help when moving equipment in a rack or working in tight spaces. The pack includes 10 yellow locks.
Each lock secures a plug to most RJ45 jacks in a patch panel, wall plate or switch to stop unauthorized removal. Cut off the plastic latch on top of the plug, slide the lock on and insert the plug until it clicks. It works with most Cat5/Cat6 and other RJ45 cables, can only be unlocked with the security key, and the yellow color makes locked ports easy to spot.
