The Fluke 773 is a milliamp process clamp meter for troubleshooting transmitters, valves and PLCs in process plants, not a network tester. It reads 4 to 20 mA loop signals with the loop left intact at 0.01 mA resolution, sources and simulates 4 to 20 mA with loop power, and sources and measures DC voltage to check 1 to 5 V or 0 to 10 V devices and power supplies. A built-in spotlight lights up wires in dark enclosures.
