The Fluke Networks MicroMapper (MT-8200-49A) quickly tests twisted pair cabling for opens, shorts, crossed, reversed and split pairs. Press TEST and it scans every pair, with LEDs pointing to faults. Its tone generator pairs with an IntelliTone or other analog probe for tracing cable hidden in walls, ceilings and floors. The included remote lets one person test installed runs or patch cords. It uses 4 AAA batteries and comes with an RJ-45 patch cable.
