The Fortinet FortiGate 1100E is a 2U firewall for large enterprise edge, data center core and internal segmentation use. It is rated at 80 Gbps firewall (1518-byte UDP), 26 Gbps application control, 12.5 Gbps IPS, 9.8 Gbps NGFW and 10 Gbps SSL inspection, with up to 8 million concurrent TCP sessions and 500,000 new sessions per second. It has two 40G QSFP+ ports, four 10/25G SFP28 ports, four 10G SFP+ ports, eight SFP ports, sixteen Gigabit RJ-45 ports and two management ports, with two power supplies and about 217 W draw. This is the hardware without a service bundle.
