Add 3 TB of midline storage to HPE ProLiant Gen8, Gen9 and Gen10 servers with the HPE 507618-006. This 3.5 inch LFF (large form factor) drive runs at 7,200 RPM over a dual port SAS 6Gb/s connection. It comes mounted in an HPE Smart Carrier.
It suits capacity driven jobs such as bulk storage, expanding digital content libraries, and cloud or web infrastructure.
About the Smart Carrier: status icons and an animated ring on the tray show what the drive is doing, a blue locator light can be turned on remotely so you pull the right tray, and a warning icon on the release button lights up if removing the drive would lose data.
