The HPE 758836-B21 is a 2GB Flash Backed Write Cache (FBWC) module from the G9 Performance line, made for P-series Smart Array controllers in HPE ProLiant Gen9 servers. During a power loss its super-capacitors supply power while cached data is moved to onboard NAND flash, so no battery is involved.
