The HPE QW972A is a StoreFabric SN1000Q dual port 16Gb Fibre Channel HBA for select HPE servers. It ships with both low profile and full height brackets and has a PCIe x4 form factor.

- Read Diagnostic Parameters (RDP) remotely pinpoint network and media errors such as CRC and loss of sync, from any point in the fabric
- Fabric-assigned Port WWN (FA_WWN) lets the switch port hold the WWN, so zoning can be set up before servers arrive
- Fabric-based Boot LUN (F_BLD) pulls boot LUN details straight from a Gen 5 16Gb switch for faster server rollout
