The Lantronix xDirect (XDT4851002-01-S) is a compact 1 port serial to Ethernet device server for nearly any machine with a serial interface. It has one RS-232/422/485 DB-9 with auto sensing and up to 921.6 Kbps, one 10/100 RJ-45 port, 15 kV ESD protection and AES encryption up to 256-bit. A built-in web server lets you set it up from a PC, phone or tablet, and it includes Com Port Redirector and DeviceInstaller software. It draws about 1.3 W from an external adapter. The description mentions PoE power options, which the spec does not list for this model.
