The Opengear CM8116 is a 16 port CM8100 console server for reliable serial console management, letting IT teams reach infrastructure during network outages through Smart OOB. It has sixteen RS-232 RJ-45 ports at up to 230.4 Kbps, two gigabit RJ-45, two USB 3.0 and an RJ-45 console. A Marvell 88F6820 at 1.6 GHz with 2 GB DDR4 and 32 GB flash adds TPM 2.0, IPsec VPN, firewall and AAA, with AD, LDAP, RADIUS and TACACS+. It is passively cooled with dual redundant supplies drawing about 15 W in 1U, and ships with rack ears, screws, a power cable, a DB-9 adapter and a 6 ft patch cable.
