The Opengear CM8116 is a 1U console server, not a network adapter. It gives out of band access to 16 RS-232 serial consoles over straight through RJ-45 cabling, with two Gigabit RJ-45 network ports and two USB 3.0 ports. It runs on a 1.6 GHz Marvell Arm processor with 2 GB of DDR4 RAM and 32 GB of flash, and includes TPM 2.0, VPN, firewall and AAA features with LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+ and Active Directory login. It has two redundant DC power supplies rated for -40 to -72 V and draws about 15 W.
