The Perle IOLAN SDS16C (04031614) is a 16 port 1U device server for RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 equipment, built for serial communication, data capture and monitoring. Dual gigabit Ethernet with Redundant Path keeps serial access available. A 400 MHz processor with 64 MB RAM and 16 MB flash supports IPsec VPN, NAT-T, L2TP, IPv6, dynamic DNS and 15 kV ESD protection. Security covers SSH v2, SSL/TLS and AES up to 256-bit, with LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+ and X.509. It is managed by web, SNMP v3, SSH and Telnet and draws about 15 W.
