This yellow simplex patch cable measures 1 meters (3.3ft) and is terminated with an angled LC (male) connector on one end and a standard LC (male) connector on the other. OS2 is a standard 9/125 micron single mode fiber, defined in ISO/IEC 11801, that is usually run at 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths with a maximum attenuation of 1 dB/km.
The jacket is rated OFNR (optical fiber, nonconductive, riser), which makes the cable a good choice for indoor fiber runs. Being simplex, it uses a single fiber strand, which pairs best with bidirectional (BiDi) transceivers and other devices that send on one fiber.
