This purple duplex patch cable measures 1 meters (3.3ft) and is terminated LC (male) to LC (male). OM4 fiber has a 50 micron core and handles 10 Gigabit Ethernet at distances up to 550 meters and 100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 150 meters. It also works with existing OM3 cabling.
The jacket is rated OFNR (optical fiber, nonconductive, riser), which makes the cable a good choice for indoor fiber runs. Being duplex, it has two fiber strands, so one can transmit while the other receives. That is exactly what most standard transceivers expect. It is also compliant with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA).
