This three-port media converter links two 10/100/1000Base-TX (RJ-45) ports to one 1000Base-X fiber link through an open SFP port, so you can choose SX, LX or BX modules and take your network past copper's 100 meter limit. The RJ-45 ports run full duplex at 10/100/1000 Mbps (half duplex only at 10/100).
Both RJ-45 ports act as PoE outputs. As Power Sourcing Equipment, the unit combines data with typical 48V power and feeds IEEE 802.3at powered devices over CAT5e UTP up to 100 meters (330 ft), with up to 30 W per port.
