This active electrical cable (AEC) is built to work with Arista Networks equipment. It links OSFP to OSFP ports at 800GBase over active copper, with a maximum reach of 0.5 m (1.6 ft), and supports CMIS 5.0.
Before it ships, every cable is programmed, given its own serial number and tested with live data traffic in the target application, so it works as expected out of the box. It follows MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) standards, is TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
