This dual OEM passive twinax copper direct attach cable is coded on each end for a different brand: one end works as a Arista Networks CAB-Q-Q-100G-5M and the other as a Mellanox MCP1600-C005. It links QSFP28 ports at 100GBase-CU with a maximum reach of 5 m (16.4ft).
Each end starts up and behaves just like the matching Arista Networks or Mellanox cable, and the cable is built to meet or beat both makers' specs. Every unit is programmed, serialized and tested with live data traffic before it ships. It follows MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) standards, is TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
