This active optical cable is built as a drop-in replacement for the Mellanox MFA1A00-E020. It links QSFP28 to QSFP28 ports at 100GBase-AOC with a maximum reach of 20 m (65.6ft). It runs over multimode fiber at 850 nm.
Before it ships, every cable is programmed, given its own serial number and tested with live data traffic in the target application, so it works as expected out of the box. It follows MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) standards, is TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
