Built to work as a direct replacement for the NVIDIA Mellanox MFP7E40-N005, this 5 meter yellow cable splits one angled MPO (female) connector into two angled MPO (female) connectors. It uses Type-B (crossover) polarity. OS2 is a standard 9/125 micron single mode fiber, defined in ISO/IEC 11801, that is usually run at 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths with a maximum attenuation of 1 dB/km.
The low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket cuts down on toxic and corrosive gas if the cable burns and is self-extinguishing, which is why this material is the usual pick for tight, poorly ventilated spaces such as aircraft, rail cars and ships.
