This 6 meter (19.7 ft) Proline patch cable uses OM4 50/125 multimode fiber and has LC connectors on both ends. OM4 is the laser optimized multimode grade built for fast, short reach links, with support for 100G at distances up to 150 meters. That makes it a dependable fit for switch, server and storage connections in data centers and larger enterprise networks.
The duplex layout gives you two fibers, one to transmit and one to receive. The connectors have a standard boot and UPC polished end faces. The aqua jacket carries an OFNR riser rating, so the cable can be run vertically through building risers between floors where riser rated cabling is required. Proline builds these cables to TIA standards. This version is TAA compliant, so it qualifies for many US federal purchasing programs.
