The Ring Alarm Range Extender (2nd gen) plugs in to stretch Ring Alarm coverage by up to 250 ft and cut dead zones. It runs on AC power with rechargeable battery backup, is for indoor use and requires a Ring Alarm base station. It is an extender, not a card reader.
