This 2 meter (6.6 ft) StarTech.com duplex patch cable uses OM2 50/125 micron multimode fiber, with an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other. It handles fast, high bandwidth transfers on Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel networks, with a maximum data rate of 10 Gbps.
The low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) flame retardant jacket keeps smoke, toxicity and corrosion low under high heat or fire, so it suits industrial sites, central offices, schools and homes where building codes apply. Each cable is individually tested and certified to stay within acceptable insertion loss limits, and like all fiber it is immune to electrical interference.
