This OM4 LC to LC multimode duplex patch cable gives you dependable links on 40 and 100 Gigabit networks. Its Erika Violet jacket follows the TIA color code, so OM4 is easy to tell apart from aqua OM3/OM4 cabling, and the slim uniboot connectors are easy to plug in and pull out in crowded racks.
Performance: Laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF) makes it a great match for 850 nm and 1350 nm VCSEL and LED sources. Precision ceramic ferrules keep the fibers aligned to hold insertion loss down, and the UPC polished LC ends give much better return loss than older PC polishing.
Riser rated: The flame-retardant OFNR (Optical Fiber Nonconductive Riser) jacket limits flame spread between floors, so the cable is safe for riser spaces and vertical shafts in commercial buildings and helps you meet fire codes in multi-story sites.
