This 8 meter OS2 single mode duplex patch cable, with an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, is built for 100G networks. It supports Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) across an extended 1260 to 1625 nm range, which improves channel isolation and keeps signals strong over long runs.
Compatibility: The 9/125 µm single mode fiber works with laser-optimized sources from 1260 to 1625 nm and is a good fit for key links between servers, switches and other data center gear. It is backward compatible with OS1 networks, so it plays well with legacy fiber.
Performance: Precision ceramic ferrules hold the fiber in tight alignment for insertion loss under 0.3 dB. The UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) polish on the LC and SC ends gives much better return loss than older PC polishing. The bend-insensitive fiber core is wrapped in a low refractive index layer that bounces light back into the core instead of letting it escape. The cable is engineered for low attenuation and exceeds ITU-T G.652.D/G.657.A1 and IEC 60793-2-50 type B1.3/B6.a1 standards.
LSZH jacket: The flame-retardant Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket gives off little smoke and few toxic fumes under extreme heat or fire. That allows safer installs in poorly ventilated spaces such as some industrial sites, enclosed environments like trains and aircraft, and homes where building codes apply.
Each cable is individually tested for insertion loss and ships with a test report, for guaranteed compatibility and reliability.
