This 5 meter (16.4 ft) StarTech.com 10 Gigabit multimode duplex cable has an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, with 50/125 micron OM3 aqua fiber in between. It is well suited to runs between backbone switches, hubs and routers, as well as higher end network equipment that needs dependable, fast data transfer.
A flame retardant low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket keeps smoke, toxicity and corrosion low in the event of a fire, which makes the cable a solid choice for industrial sites, central offices, schools and homes where building codes are a factor. An aramid sheath surrounds the 50/125 fiber, which is optimized for an effective bandwidth of at least 2000 MHz·km at 850 nm with a VCSEL source.
