This compact Gigabit converter lets you upgrade Cat6 or similar cabling to an EMI-free fiber link. It is powered by PoE, so it works where external power is not available, and it is TAA compliant.
The unmanaged, plug-and-play design needs no software. The IP20 metal housing integrates the LC fiber and RJ45 ports, and a metal tab on the RJ45 side locks it in place. It works with any PoE equipment that supports 802.3af or higher and reaches 10 km on singlemode or 800 m on multimode fiber.
