This 3 meter (9.8 ft) StarTech.com breakout cable fans one 40Gbps connection from a 40GBase-SR4 QSFP+ transceiver out to four 10Gbps LC SFP+ transceivers. A female MTP/MPO connector on one end splits into four duplex LC/PC connectors on the other, over OM3 50/125 multimode fiber.
One handed install and removal is easy thanks to push/pull tabs, and slim uniboot LC connectors save space for cleaner cable management. The jacket is plenum rated (OFNP/CMP) for spaces that call for a CMP fire rating. Every cable is tested for insertion loss and return loss, and the test report comes in the bag.
