The StarTech IC232485S is a bi-directional converter that adapts an RS-232 signal to RS-485 (2 or 4 wire) or RS-422 and back, at up to 921.6 Kbps, with automatic baud rate detection. Built for industrial sites, it has 15 kV ESD protection on all signal pins, a wall mountable metal housing, Power, Tx and Rx LEDs, and runs on 5 V DC.
