The StarTech PEX1P2 adds one DB25 parallel (LPT) port to a desktop through a PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot, using an ASIX AX99100 chip. It suits printers, scanners, plotters, POS terminals, PLCs, lab sensors, medical equipment and factory control gear. A full profile bracket is fitted and a low profile bracket is included, and it supports PC and Linux platforms. It is the newer version of the PEX1P card.
