The StarTech PEX1S1P950 adds one DB25 IEEE 1284 parallel port and one DB9 RS-232 serial port to a desktop from a single PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot, using an ASIX AX99100 chip. It suits printers, scanners, POS terminals, PLCs, lab and medical equipment and factory control. It replaces the earlier PEX1S1P952 and is TAA compliant.
