The StarTech ST1000PEXPSE adds one 2.5 Gigabit RJ-45 port with PoE+ to a computer or server through a PCIe 2.1 x1 slot, built on the Realtek RTL8125B. It acts as IEEE 802.3af/at power sourcing equipment, delivering up to 25.5 W at 48 V DC to the connected device (30 W PSE), so a remote device gets power and data on one Cat5e or better cable. It runs at 2.5G, 1G, 100M or 10M, supports Wake on LAN, has a low profile bracket and is TAA compliant.
