The StarTech US1GC30B adds a Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port to a laptop, tablet or desktop through a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port. It uses USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) to deliver full 10/100/1000 Mbps speed, with checksum offload and large send offload, and is built on the Realtek RTL8153 chipset. It is plug and play, compact and light. Listed systems include Windows XP through 11, Windows Server 2003 to 2022, macOS 10.7 to 13, ChromeOS and Linux.
